Myko’s Story: A Voyage Full of Affection, Merriment, and Grandparental Devotion ?
Myko has a heartwarming tale filled with love, happiness, and lots of pampering from his loving grandparents. When his mother picked him up from their home, she noticed that the family dynamics had changed since her own childhood. Myko was lucky enough to not only cuddle on the table after breakfast but also seemed to take ownership of the place.
Myko’s mom jokingly commented that in her day, having grandparents who spoil their grand-canine was unheard of. It seems that Myko’s grandparents have mastered the art of doting on their furry grandchild, making them his favorite duo. Myko’s love for them knows no bounds, as mentioned by his mom, who also revealed that he gets excited at the mere mention of their names and chirps with joy at the thought of visiting them. Myko’s rendezvous with his grandparents happen three to four times a week, serving as his second home or a “vacation home” filled with affection. It’s apparent that his grandparents adore him just as much as he adores them.
Myko and his grandparents formed a strong bond after he was rescued from a high-kill shelter in South Carolina when he was a pup. His mom fondly remembers the day they brought him home and how excited her parents were to meet him. From then on, Myko enjoyed being pampered with treats, praise, cuddles, and pets whenever he stayed with his grandparents, which he affectionately referred to as his “vacation home”.
Myko’s grandparents had several special routines just for him, such as setting aside some “eggies” and sharing their toast, which they called “crusties”, during his morning visits. He even joined them for their morning tea sessions and went on bird-watching adventures with them. In the afternoons, Myko loved lounging on their bed before going on a stroll to the nearby duck pond. At night, he snuggled up in their bed and watched shows and movies with them. His mom playfully admits that Myko was treated like a human grandchild by his doting grandparents.
It’s amusing that when Myko visits his grandparents, his grandfather moves to another room so Myko can sleep next to his Grammy. Although Myko sleeps in a crate at home, his well-being is still a top priority for his parents. They’ve fenced in their backyard to provide him with plenty of space to play and socialize with other dogs. Myko also enjoys homemade meals prepared by his dad and has a special blanket and safe space during thunderstorms or fireworks. His parents have even adapted their lifestyle to cater to his anxiety by hiring an in-home veterinarian and pet sitters when needed. Myko’s mom describes him as having an extraordinary personality and emotions similar to humans. Despite his anxieties, Myko is brave, intelligent, funny, and responsive thanks to the love and support of his family. He is undeniably their soulmate. ???
