Zach Skow, the mastermind behind Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue, and his wife Heather Skow became the saviors of little poodle, Cora Rose, after a terrible car accident some years back. The accident left the poor puppy with broken legs and a broken heart. The couple quickly rushed her to Bakersfield Veterinary Hospital where her front legs had to be amputated.
Fortunately, Cora exhibited great resilience. The discomfort subsided swiftly and she cautiously attempted to move, ultimately wagging her tail in relief.
As time went by, the lovely little pup learned to rise and move about on her hind legs. With each passing day, her two legs grew sturdier, and as a result, she felt more content. Presently, this remarkable pooch can stand upright like a champion and bounce like a kangaroo, always moving ahead. Additionally, she has a wheelchair she can use whenever she desires to run.
CoraRose is living her best life, embracing every day with joy and excitement. She has seamlessly become a part of the Skow family, effortlessly bonding with other furry friends. Her friendship with Zach and Heather’s little girl is truly special, as she even helps the toddler learn to walk.
