Mam Nata, a pregnant dog, was left in front of IAPA on December 22nd and she is expected to give birth soon. Despite the efforts of the staff at Instituto Amour em Patas (IAPA), it took some time for the frightened and weak Mam Nata to feel comfortable in her new surroundings. Sadly, her owner abandoned her due to fear of the upcoming litter.
Initially, she was very defensive of her mother and didn’t let the shelter volunteers come near her. However, with time, she became more comfortable and friendly towards them. According to a participant’s report, it is possible that she may have around twelve babies growing inside her. Due to her weak condition, her test has been scheduled for tomorrow. Both Natajuli and I are in for a long night, making sure everything is set for her upcoming scan. Natajuli has been given permission to return to the shelter with the necessary supplies for the delivery of her babies. She has successfully delivered a highly intelligent young boy as her first child. In total, Natajuli gave birth to fourteen healthy and beautiful children. What do you think about the number of pups?
Natajuli and her litter of 14 newborn puppies went to the veterinarian for a check-up, including an ultrasound and blood tests. The mother appeared a bit flushed during the examination, but all of her puppies were healthy and growing well. I couldn’t help but feel emotional when I saw how happy Natajuli was with her beautiful children. I wanted to shower them all with hugs and kisses!
